Wesley Chapel District Park – Wesley Chapel, FL 33544

Wesley Chapel, FL is just north of Tampa, FL in Pasco County. With a perfect location with easy access to I-75, great subdivisions, two malls (The Shops at Wiregrass and The Grove at Wesley Chapel) with a third on the way (Cypress Creek Town Center), a new hospital, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, opening in 2012, Raymond James Financial moving to town in the next couple of years and more.

Wesley Chapel is truly a rising star in the area.

One of the things I love about living in Wesley Chapel, is the Wesley Chapel District Park. It allows the area residents to get out and enjoy this incredible 143 acre park. I walk daily on the 1.6 mile trail, though I generally do two to five laps, or 3.2 to 8 miles. It is so much better than walking along the streets or through the subdivisions where you have to deal with cars.

As can be seen by the virtual tour below there is plenty to do at the park. Many days you will see the park filled with baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse teams all playing simultaneously on the many fields. There is also tennis and basketball courts, shelters for picnics, a large pavilion that can be rented for groups, even a stocked pond for those wanting a peaceful day of fishing.
